Air India is the national flag carrier of India and is owned by the Government of India. It operates Airbus and Boeing aircraft and flies to domestic as well as international destinations. In domestic flights of Air India, the passengers can check in with a maximum of 40 kg per customer in the First Class. If you carry extra baggage, you will have to pay additional charges. In the Executive Class, the free baggage allowance is 35 kg per passenger, while it is 15 to 20 kg per passenger in the Economy Class. You are allowed to carry one piece as cabin baggage.
